"When my wife, Judith, and I decided to move to be nearer to family we began a process to find a Realtor. Frankly, the process concerned me because of my own background in real estate. April 30, 2005. "Several months ago I had the occasion to be involved with the sale of a residential property complicated by very restrictive zoning regulations. In fact, the owner had placed the property on the market in a couple of unsuccessful efforts to sell it before asking me to assist in trying to get things moving. I had occasion to meet a Real Estate Broker with Elite Mountain Properties, when she was engaged in the sale of another piece of property and was impressed by her knowledge of properties in the Beech Mountain, Blowing Rock, and Boone area so I contacted her to assist in trying to sell my friend's property. First, we worked out a strategy somewhat different from my friend’s and then she began to work her contacts who would likely be interested in the circumstances surrounding the parcel. It’s not easy to find and purchase a home when you live 3,000 miles away from the high country. But, Shanaaz Eisenberg helped us do just that. What first drew me to Elite Mountain Properties was the Web site. It was so user friendly and informative.

Once I contacted Shanaaz and told her what we were looking for, she sent us e-mails with links to properties. Our long distance search was easier because our daughter, Dyan, lives in Beech Mountain, and she toured many properties with Shanaaz and reported back to us whether it was a go or no go.
