 | I am originally from Yadkinville, NC, a quiet little town about an hour east of Boone, but some of my most vivid childhood memories are from the High Country. From a very early age, my Dad would bring me to the mountains to go fishing and camping. Through these trips I gained a great deal of knowledge about the land and a deeper appreciation for its beauty. So it was only a matter of time before I realized that this was the place that I wanted to live. I went to school at Appalachian State University and graduated with a degree in Health Promotion. I have been a broker for Elite Mountain Properties for 3 years.
Being in the Real Estate business gives me a chance to meet new people, and introduce them to an area that they would be happy to call home. This area offers a slower paced way of life, which appeals to many who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. For me it offers a laid back way of life and a touch of childhood nostalgia.

 | I have lived, worked and studied in the mountains of Western
North Carolina for over 18 years. From Cashiers, NC to Banner Elk, NC I have the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains covered. My love of the mountains began when
I moved to the mountains in 1988 to earn my degree in English from Western
Carolina University and later received a Masters in Student Development and
College Counseling from Appalachian State University. In addition to my
involvement and work in higher education, I've developed a knack and
interest in real estate. I've purchased a number of properties for my
own interests and am just as dedicated to finding a property that would fit
yours. As a Nationally Certified Counselor I've developed the active
listening skills that translate well when working with clients.
After my day in real estate, I'm kept busy with my family, Ailish,
(6) an aspiring soccer player, Liam, (4) an artist in the making and my wife, Amanda, who is a faculty member at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk,
NC.
In my free time you might see me riding my mountain bike in the Pisgah
